Project Scope
We worked with United Living on this mid and high-rise residential and commercial development, which included retail and hotel space at Kingston-upon-Thames in South-West London. We fitted engineered stone and PPC aluminium rainscreen cladding.
Challenges
The project had to be constructed over an existing regional electrical distribution centre, with stringent safety requirements. We also had to take over mid-project and complete the work following the administration of the original contractor.

This project for United Living was a mid-rise residential development at Kilburn in North London. We were responsible for supplying and fixing rainscreen cladding.
Challenges
We took over this project after the original contractor had gone into administration and Ellyon brought it to a successful completion.

Project Scope
We worked with United Living on a project at Queensbridge Quarter, a mid-rise residential development block in Hackney, East London. We took over the project from another contractor that had gone into administration and Ellyon completed the removal and rectification of rainscreen aluminium, glass and zinc cladding.
Challenges
We worked closely with Windtech, the client’s cladding consultant, collaborating on quality and design coordination. We also had to work carefully to minimise disturbance on properties that were occupied.

Project Scope
United Living (formerly United House) is one of the UK’s leading providers of refurbished and new build living solutions with a focus on sustainable legacy. We provided assistance with cladding services at the company’s mid-rise development at Southwark in Central London. The development consisted of 205 homes, made up of studios, 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom duplex and town houses with a mix of tenure including affordable rent, shared ownership and private sale.
Challenges
We took over this project from another contractor that had been encountering problems and brought it to a successful completion.

United House Developments is one of London’s leading niche developers, with a number of award-winning schemes characterised by fantastic architecture, superb specifications, and meticulous attention to detail. We worked with the company on the residential conversion of an existing 1900s city centre building with a penthouse addition. We supplied and fitted bespoke curtain walling, penthouse rooflights and screens to this prestigious development.
Challenges
To maintain progress and comply with regulations we had to adhere to detailed logistics procedures in this demanding city centre site.

We provided a number of cladding and installation services for Vision Homes at the Surrey Quays development in South-East London. We were responsible for supplying and fixing aluminium rainscreen cladding, steel frame systems, curtain walling and installation of windows, balconies, decking and balustrades.
Challenges
This was a demanding programme with complex logistics in a busy part of the Docklands regeneration area.

High-rise construction of 273 residential properties and new commercial space
Project Scope
Higgins Construction PLC has a reputation as one of the most forward thinking construction companies in the UK. We provided the company with a range of cladding services for a high-rise construction in Hackney, East London of 273 residential properties and new commercial space. We were responsible for the design, supply, installation and validation of cladding to facades and balconies, AOV system installation, curtain walling for the marketing suite and balcony timber decking systems. We also carried out external refurbishment of a further 101 existing properties, taking responsibility for removal and replacement of outdated rainscreen cladding.
Challenges
To meet the requirements of statutory and warranty inspectorate, we had to manage testing and validation of our products to the demanding standards set by the Centre for Window and Cladding Technology (CWCT). We also undertook value engineering of the solution to ensure it would meet both commercial and programme time constraints.

Project Scope
For Ballymore, Developer of the Year at the 2018 Property Awards, we carried out a range of projects at the prestigious London City Island development at Canning Town in London’s Docklands. Working on a high-rise construction of 1600 residential units and 20,000m2 of commercial space, we supplied and fixed a steel framing system and hot rolled materials to form residential penthouse units and plant room enclosures. We were also responsible for supplying and fitting acoustic screens, aluminium rainscreen cladding, polyester powder coated aluminium (PPC) insulated panels, aluminium louvres and brick slip systems.
Challenges
This was a demanding programme, working on a prestigious high-rise development within a tight timeframe. To develop and source the most appropriate solution for this project, we had to coordinate the design team and European supply chain.
